چکیده
Aim: HELLP syndrome is a life-threatening condition frequently associated with severe preeclampsia-eclampsia and characterized by hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes low plateletes. The aim of our study was to evaluate retrospectively the patients admitted intensive care unit (ICU).
Material Methods: We reviewed medical records 19 ICU between January 2011 December 2015.
Results: mean maternal age 30.0 ± 5.1 years gestational 32.2 4.8 weeks ICU. Acute Physiology Chronic Health Evaluation System (APACHE II) score, Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) were 25.9 4.0, 14.2 2.8 5.2 2.7 at admission, respectively. Mechanical ventilation required for 12 (63.6%). Eight (42.1%) had acute kidney injury only 1 patient renal replacement therapy. Therapeutic plasma exchange performed 11 (57.9%). Three (15.8%) dissemine intravascular coagulation (DIC), 5 (26.3%) respiratory distress (ARDS), 3 septic shock, (5.3%) cardiogenic shock. length stay 8.1 4.7 days. Both fetal mortality rate 10.5%.
Conclusion: Maternal/fetal morbidity are high in syndrome. Early diagnosis, close follow-up unit, appropriate treatment management multidisciplinary team may prevent complications improve prognosis

Most aortic aneurysms are detected incidentally in patients presenting for other illnesses. The prevalence of thoracic aortic aneurysms is in the order of 3-4% in individuals older than 65 years. Aneurysms of the thoraco-abdominal aorta are primarily due to atherosclerotic degenerative disease (80%) and due to chronic aortic dissection in the remaining 20%. The morbidity and mortality from aort...
